The Home Savings and Loan Co. has promoted Nick Berardino of Boardman to assistant vice president/commercial loan officer. He joined the company in 2003 as part of its management training program and has served as a commercial credit analyst in the commercial loan department. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Union College.

Melinda Bowen-Houck of Boardman has joined the Regional Chamber as an account executive. She will sell memberships to area businesses and organizations. She had been executive director of RMHC of Mahoning Valley and Western Pa., and was responsible for daily operations of the Ronald McDonald House. She earned a bachelor’s degree in management at Youngstown State University.

Donna DeFrank of Hubbard has been appointed director of nursing services for St. Joseph Health Center. She earned her master’s degree in nursing from University of Akron, a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and her nursing diploma from Youngstown Hospital School of Nursing. She had been assistant vice president of nursing for Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica, NY.

Kutlick Realty has hired Gary Lasko of Poland as an agent, specializing in the leasing and sale of commercial real estate. Lasko has a commercial specialist designation from Hondros College. He was graduated in 1982 from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
