Pulaski man arrested twice Saturday for DUI

PULASKI, Pa. — A New Castle man was arrested twice the same day and charged with driving under the influence.

A trooper from Pennsylvania State Police’s New Castle barracks stopped Duane J. Evans, 24, of Sankey Street, about 2:20 a.m. today on U.S. Route 422 after seeing him commit traffic violations.

Evans was arrested for DUI and after submitting to a blood test at Jameson Hospital was released and advised not to operate a vehicle.

About 3:30 a.m. today, a state trooper saw Evans operating a different vehicle and arrested him on a DUI charge. Evans was then lodged in the Lawrence County Jail.
