Troy Murphy and Jamaal Tinsley each scored 20 points for the Pacers (3-6), who lost their sixth straight.

76ers 92, Trail Blazers 88

PHILADELPHIA — Oh, what a comeback for the Philadelphia 76ers. Louis Williams scored all 19 points in the second half to rally the Sixers from a 25-point deficit, and Andre Iguodala gave them their first lead with a minute left in a simply stunning victory. The Sixers missed 15 straight shots spanning the first two quarters, scored only 27 points in the first half and played little like a team about to unleash a remarkable rally.

Celtics 92, Heat 91

BOSTON — The Boston Celtics overcame a very imperfect fourth quarter to keep their perfect season going. Kevin Garnett had 26 points and 11 rebounds, Paul Pierce made the go-ahead layup with 25 seconds left after Boston blew a 15-point fourth-quarter lead to improve to 8-0. Pierce scored 12, Ray Allen had 19, and Rajon Rondo had nine points and 10 assists for Boston.

Magic 95, Nets 70

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Dwight Howard had 21 points, 19 rebounds and became the NBA’s youngest player to grab 3,000 rebounds, leading the Magic. Rashard Lewis added 27 points and Jameer Nelson hit two big 3-pointers in a decisive third-quarter spurt that carried the Magic to a franchise record-tying sixth straight road win.

Spurs 90, Rockets 84

SAN ANTONIO — Tim Duncan had 25 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Spurs. Manu Ginobili added 19 points for the Spurs and Michael Finley had 17. Luis Scola, whose rights were traded from the Spurs to the Rockets over the summer, had a breakout game, scoring 20 points. Shane Battier added 16.

Wizards 105, Timberwolves 89

MINNEAPOLIS — Caron Butler scored a season-high 29 points, Gilbert Arenas added 27, and the Washington Wizards beat the Timberwolves. Arenas scored six straight points to ignite a decisive 20-3 fourth-quarter run that helped the Wizards take control. Butler also had a key steal of an inbounds pass and Minnesota committed several turnovers during that decisive stretch. Rashad McCants led the Wolves with 19 points and Al Jefferson chipped in with 15, but struggled shooting all night.

Hornets 120, Grizzlies 118, OT

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — David West scored a career-high 40 points, including the go-ahead 15-footer with 8.3 seconds left in overtime, and the Hornets beat the Grizzlies. Chris Paul added 28 points and 13 assists in the victory, which ran the Hornets’ record to 8-2, the best start in franchise history. The win wasn’t assured until Memphis forward Rudy Gay missed an 11-footer with about 2 seconds left in overtime.

SuperSonics 126, Hawks 123, 2OT

ATLANTA — Rookie Kevin Durant made a buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the end of the second overtime, and Damien Wilkins scored a career-high 41 points in the SuperSonics’ victory. With Al Horford guarding him at the top of the key, Durant pumped once to get the defender in the air before shooting over his outstretched arm. Durant, the No. 2 overall draft pick, finished with 21 points as Seattle improved to 2-8 following a victory on Wednesday at Miami. Joe Johnson had a season-high 39 for the Hawks, who have lost three of four.
