Police look for woman missing teeth in North Side stabbing

YOUNGSTOWN — A 27-year-old North Jackson woman told police she was stabbed Thursday afternoon near her right shoulder blade by a small, dirty middle-aged woman with missing teeth who wanted her car from the parking lot of the public library on Wick Avenue.

A nurse at St. Elizabeth Health Center told police the victim, Virginia Skarada, had a tube inserted because a lung collapsed.

Skarada said she was able to push the woman away and drive herself to the hospital. Her condition was not immediately available Friday.
