Farrell man arrested for shooting Warren men

SHARON, Pa. — The man suspected in the shooting of three Warren residents was arrested without incident at his mother’s Sharon home, police said.

Jaron West, known as “DeDe”, 19, of Spearman Avenue, Farrell, was found at 3:04 p.m. Thursday at a home on the 700 block of Baldwin Avenue. He is charged with nine counts of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.

Police said there were nine people inside the Negley Street duplex Oct. 16 when a fight broke out between West and another person and then shots were fired.

Derek Thresh, 18, of Warren, was shot in the right lower leg; Raymond Harrison, 17, of Warren, was shot once in the right upper shoulder and once inside the right upper arm; and Kevin Daniels, 26, of Warren, was shot three times, once in the left side of the chest, in the back and in his left arm.

West was arraigned and placed in the Mercer County Jail after failing to post $250,000 bond, police said.
