East Side vacant house fire causes $10K damage

YOUNGSTOWN — A fire deliberately set at 1359 Shehy St. around 11:55 p.m. Thursday destroyed the vacant East Side house, the fire department said.

The front porch and first floor of the two-story structure were burning when crews arrived. Damage was set at $10,000, a total loss, and demolition has been requested.
