Boardman man robbed at his home

BOARDMAN — A Grover Drive man told police he was robbed as he got out of his car at his home.

The victim, 77, said that he pulled into his garage late Thursday and as he left his car, a man wearing a ski mask came into the garage and demanding money and threatening to kill the victim.

The victim said he didn’t have any money and the masked man pepper sprayed him in the face and the two men struggled, a police report said.

The robber grabbed the man’s wallet and cash from the victim’s pants pocket and fled on foot toward Maple Drive.
