Nov. 11
Burglary: A Woodlawn Avenue couple discovered a ladder was used to enter their attic window and that a garage door was open. Stolen were the man’s wallet and a chain saw.
Theft: A West Second Street woman suspected her son of stealing some of her medications.
Nov. 12
Theft: A Youngstown man reported $200 stolen from his wallet while he was at a home in the 100 block of West Second Street.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Cortland woman told officers her son’s girlfriend used the woman’s 1997 Buick without permission.
Nov. 14
Drugs: While responding to a report of an unwanted person in the 300 block of East Kline Street, authorities arrested a Hubbard man, 39, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug-abuse instruments. A suspected crack pipe and narcotics were found, police said.

Nov. 9
Drugs: A traffic stop on state Route 193 resulted in a 26-year-old Youngstown woman’s arrest on charges of drug abuse and falsification when, police said, a rock of suspected crack cocaine was found wrapped in plastic. The woman also was wanted on warrants charging her with two other drug-related offenses.

Theft/criminal damaging: A Colonial Drive man noticed two cars had been ransacked, and that a compact-disc player and valve caps were removed from them.
Arrest: While investigating a menacing complaint in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive, authorities took into custody a Youngstown man, 30, wanted on a felony warrant charging him with aggravated trafficking in marijuana.
Identity fraud: A Monticello Boulevard man found out someone used his identity to receive gas services at another township residence. The gas company told the victim he has an outstanding balance of $9,044, the report showed.
Theft: A Trumbull Court woman reported someone entered her car and removed a suitcase.

Theft: Two people left Big Lots, 3491 Belmont Ave., with a shopping cart containing merchandise they failed to pay for.
Burglary: A Colonial Drive man discovered someone pried open a rear door to his residence, though it appeared nothing had been taken.
Assaults: A woman told police her daughter had been pushed into a set of lockers at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way. In a separate incident, another student reported being punched in the face.
Stolen property: After a vehicle registration check at a Belmont Avenue motel confirmed the car had been stolen in Niles, police charged a 28-year-old Niles man with receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony.

Criminal damaging: A 14-year-old pupil at W.S Guy Middle School, 4115 Shady Road, was accused of kicking and shattering a glass window after being removed from a classroom.

Breaking and entering: Someone broke into The Lube Stop, 2915 Belmont Ave., through a rear door and took an undisclosed amount of money.
Criminal damaging: A man discovered someone had used a key to damage his vehicle’s front fender and a driver’s-side door while he was at a family member’s Green Acres Drive home.
