Police seek man accused of stealing car

BOARDMAN — Township police are looking for a man who’s accused of stealing a car from the lot of a Doral Drive store earlier this month.

A 67-year-old township woman loaded groceries into her brown 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88 about 7 p.m. Nov. 3 after shopping at Wal-Mart. After she finished loading her items, a man drove away in her car. Police weren’t sure how he was able to start it.

A witness gave a description of the car thief to police and identified him from video taken inside the store. The man was described as 35 to 40 years old, weighing between 250 and 300 pounds.
