Muhammad Ali’s friend to speak at dinner


YOUNGSTOWN — Ronald DiNicola, president and CEO of Muhammad Ali Enterprises, will be the featured speaker at a Nov. 29 Red and Gold Ethics Banquet hosted by Phi Kappa Tau fraternity at Youngstown State University.

DiNicola, a lawyer, is described as a confidant and friend of the three-time world heavyweight boxing champion.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on the YSU campus.

Tickets are $35 per person or $60 per couple, and eight-seat tables can be reserved at an extra cost.

World middleweight champion Kelly “the Ghost” Pavlik will make a guest appearance, and his signed memorabilia will be auctioned off.

Proceeds benefit nonprofit and charity organizations such as the Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang, and awards will be given that evening to ethical leaders from the Youngstown area.
