Salvation Army accepting applications for free food

YOUNGSTOWN— The Mahoning County Salvation Army is accepting applications for the Feed the Children program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Salvation Army, 1501 Glenwood Ave. Food distribution will take place on November 20 at the same location. County residents with children and total household income 200 percent or less of the Federal Poverty Guidelines are eligible. Clients must register during the application period to receive food.
