Lisbon man killed in crash on state Route 11

ELKRUN — A man was ejected from his vehicle and died in a crash on state Route 11 in Elkrun Township about 1 p.m. Monday.

The Lisbon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Kenneth Wagner, 45, of Lisbon was driving a pickup truck north on Route 11.

Wagner tried to pass vehicles by driving on the northbound berm. The truck hit a guardrail and Wagner lost control.

The truck went across the northbound lanes, the median and southbound lanes, struck another guardrail, went over an embankment and struck several trees.

He was the only occupant of the vehicle.

The patrol said it is still investigating the crash.
