Lariccia gift bolsters Boardman Park

BOARDMAN — Tony Lariccia just keeps on giving.

Earlier this month, Lariccia, a township resident and businessman, presented a $200,000 check to the board of park commissioners of Boardman Township Park District, requesting that the money be used toward renovations of the Boardman Park Community Center.

“The Lariccia family are wonderful supporters of our community,” said Dan Slagle, park director, in accepting the donation.

He said the check will be used to facilitate the park district’s master plan which calls for the continued development and improvement of the facilities of the park district, for the benefit of the citizens of Boardman.
