Two sued over movie file sharing
YOUNGSTOWN — An attorney has sued in federal court a Niles man and a Warren woman who he says have used the software Kazaa to illegally share copyrighted movies on the Internet.
Kazaa is an Internet file-sharing service with which users can obtain and share movies on their computers. Its license agreement prohibits users from using the software to transmit, access or communicate data that infringes any patent, trademark, or copyright.
Louis F. Wagner of Akron filed the suits in Youngstown Federal Court against Ronald Mason, 1220 5th St., Niles; and Deidre Glover, 1102 Wood Ave., Warren.
