Franchise owner opens
his 8th area McDonald’s

NORTH LIMA — Steve Telischak has opened a McDonald’s restaurant at the Pilot gas station at 10960 Market St. It is his eighth McDonald’s in the Mahoning Valley. The new restaurant employs 50 and has a dining area that seats 61 and features a 52-inch television. Telischak said he selected the location because it is near the Ohio Turnpike exit and is easily accessible for truck drivers and other travelers.

plans remodeling show

BOARDMAN — NARI of The Valley, the local chapter of the National Association of The Remodeling Industry, will hold a regional home remodeling show Jan. 19 and 20 at Mr. Anthony’s. Your Home Makeover Expo 2008 will feature 100 professionals from around the area offering information and demonstrations of home remodeling services and products.
