Warriors invite computer use

YOUNGSTOWN — South Side community-building organization Warriors Inc. is inviting the general public to use its computer lab for educational and professional development.

Local residents can use the lab for free to prepare for the Ohio Graduation Test or build a résumé and practice interviewing skills.

Classes will be held on an ongoing basis from the organization’s HOPE building, 2733 Market St.

The lab will be reserved for third- through eighth-grade students studying for the Ohio Achievement Test from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

High school students preparing for the OGT practice will be allowed to use the lab from 4 to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.

Career and résumé building sessions will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The sessions will allow job seekers to search job-listing databases, post résumés, and create new résumés, said community ministry liaison Wendy Robinson. Space is limited. To pre-register for a session call (330) 783-5440.
