Krystal Daniels of New Middletown has been awarded a National Leadership $1,000 scholarship by her employer, Chick-fil-A in Boardman, to help continue her study of exercise science. The chain has awarded more than $500,000 in Leadership Scholarships in Ohio alone since the program’s inception in 1973. Nationally, the scholarships total more than $22 million.

ASHLAND UNIVERSITY, ASHLAND, OHIO

Amber Colello, daughter of Christopher and Ruthann Colello of Austintown, is the president of the Panhellenic Council. She is majoring in political science. Panhellenic Council is comprised of representatives from each sorority on the Ashland campus. Its purpose is to govern the sororities in the areas of academics, philanthropy, unity, membership selection and service to the campus. Panhellenic Council also implements Rush Week and Greek Week and encourages scholastic achievement.
