Beatitude House seeks donations
YOUNGSTOWN — Beatitude House is requesting support for its annual Santa’s Workshop.
Donations of new or nearly new items for women in the program are accepted. Examples include kitchen utensils, towels, home decor items, single-use cameras, wallets, photo albums, picture frames and can openers. No candles will be accepted.
Gift bags and “to and from” tags are also appreciated by the volunteers who help the children wrap the presents.
Beatitude House is a not-for-profit organization sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters that creates homes for homeless women and children. The organization also provides education and career preparation for both homeless and other low-income women in the Mahoning Valley. Last year 445 people were served by the programs, 181 women and 264 children.
Anyone interested in donating to the workshop can bring an unwrapped gift to the administrative office at 287 Lora Ave., Youngstown, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Donations can also be delivered at program site 145 N. Glenellen in Youngstown, or in Warren at 1370 Tod Ave.
For more information, call (330) 744-3147 or (330) 399-1971.

There will be no admission charged for the concert and a free-will offering will be taken to benefit both organizations.
