Prolific writer/lecturer to speak in Youngstown


YOUNGSTOWN — NuValley Black Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a free public presentation by Jim Clingman of Blackonomics for 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Buckeye Elks Building, 421 North Ave.

His talk will cover such topics a the need for a Black chamber of commerce in the valley and how to develop a think tank to answer questions concerning the building of regional institutions for the Black community in the 21st century.

Regarded as a leader in the Black community, Clingman has written six books and numerous articles and is best known for his action-oriented message for blacks.
