BOND NOTES Mahoning borrowing

Mahoning County commissioners authorized issued bonds and notes for the following purposes Thursday:

$850,000 for a Western Reserve Road (Tippecanoe to Hitchcock Road) improvement and a Canfield sewer improvement.

$2,175,000 for retiring outstanding bond anticipation notes issued to pay for sewer and water system improvements.

$7,015,000 to retire outstanding bond anticipation notes issued for various water and sewer improvements.

$145,000 for juvenile court parking lot improvements.

$1,880,000 for installation of the Petersburg sanitary sewer, which goes into service next year.

$265,000 to acquire a sewer-cleaning jet truck.

$170,000 to acquire a pipe inspection system.

$500,000 for Spring Common Bridge improvements now under way.

$360,000 to resurface Mahoning Avenue between Meridian Road and the Meander Reservoir bridge.

$725,000 to improve Western Reserve Road between Tippecanoe Road and state Route 46.

$760,000 to improve Western Reserve Road between state Route 46 and U.S. Route 62.

$410,000 for the proposed improvement of the county administration building.
