4-car accident on I-680 injures one

BOARDMAN — A four-car accident reduced traffic on Interstate 680 to one lane for more than hour late this afternoon.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said the accident took place at 5:20 p.m. just north of the U.S. Route 224 exit. Details of how the accident happened were not available late tonight.

One man was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center’s Boardman campus for observation, but state troopers said his injuries were not life threatening. His name was not released.
