Magnuson Foundation sponsoring dinner/dance

BOARDMAN — The Magnuson Foundation is holding a dinner and dance Nov. 16 at The Georgetown to raise funds to perpetuate the legacy of Bob Magnuson and his “Random Acts of of Kindness” endeavors.

After the 6:30 p.m. social, dinner will be at 7:30 and a Chinese auction, silent auction, 50-50-raffle and reserve raffle will round out the evening. Raffle ticket holders need not be present to win.

Dinner entrees are pasta with meatballs, white fish or stuffed chicken breast, and entertainment will be by Karl Severino and his Party Machine.

Tickets are $40 and include a reverse raffle. Proceeds will be used to establish scholarships in the field of criminal justice throughout the school systems in Mahoning Valley and at Youngstown State University and to help needy families during hardships.
