Auction to benefit children’s missions

DAMASCUS — A two-part auction will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Damascus United Methodist Church, 300 Valley Road, to raise funds for missions supported by the children of the church.

The “Kids for Kids” auction will feature more than 150 new items for adults to bid on, including gift certificates, NASCAR collectibles, gift baskets and framed artwork.There will also be a separate auction for youngsters to bid on items with kids cash purchased in advance by their parents.

Doors open at 3 p.m. and a lunch counter will be available.
