West Elementary school closed a second day

YOUNGSTOWN — West Elementary School on Schenley Avenue will be closed a second day Thursday to finish disinfecting the building as a precautionary measure due to a possible staph infection.

M. Mike McNair, the school district’s public information supervisor, said the school will reopen on Friday.
