The following people were recognized recently:

BROOKFIELD — Lisa Dickson, president of Decorating in a Day Corp., was the recipient of the USA 2007 Innovative Staging Award at the international Certified Staging Professional conference. CSPs prepare homes for sale. Contests on difficult staging situations are held at the conference.

BOARDMAN — Two Aqua Ohio employees were honored by the Ohio Section of the American Water Works Association. Larry Valentine, director of corporate development, received the 2007 Chair’s Award for service to the section and editing its newsletter. Brian Bisson, vice president of engineering, was elected as the in-coming associate director of Ohio.

LORDSTOWN — Firestone Building Products Co. named Pro-Tec Roofing a recipient of its 2007 Partner in Quality Award. The award recognizes the company for its commitment to installing quality roofing systems.

NORTH JACKSON — Lori A. Greenawalt, a North Jackson native and 1984 graduate of Cedarville University, has been selected by Philadelphia Business Journal and the National Association of Women Business Owners as one of its 30 Women of Distinction for 2007 for her professional excellence and community involvement. She is a partner in KPMG LLP’s Philadelphia office. She also received the American Woman’s Society of CPAs’ 2007 Public Service Award for her contributions outside the accounting profession.
