Remembrance Tree lighting is scheduled

FARRELL, Pa. — UPMC Horizon Shenango Auxiliary will hold an annual Remembrance Tree lighting ceremony at 2 p.m. Dec. 8 in the main lobby of the Shenango Valley campus.

For a minimum donation of $5, a personalized ornament will be placed on the tree in memory or in honor of a special individual, and a card will be sent to that person or the family of a person being honored, to acknowledge the donation.

Checks made payable to the auxiliary, along with the donor’s name, address, phone number and the name of the one being honored or remembered, should be sent to Shirley Miller, Hospitality Shop, 2200 Memorial Drive, Farrell, PA 16121.

Proceeds will support auxiliary projects and hospital improvements.
