Man caught hiding inside church

YOUNGSTOWN — After a break-in at Ebeneezer Church of God in Christ around 1:10 a.m. today police said they found 43-year-old Frederick Johnson hiding in a cubbyhole behind the altar. Johnson, of Detroit Avenue, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering and resisting arrest. Police said he tried to slip his handcuffs to the front of his body while being transported to jail.
