Columbiana County results online

COLUMBIANA — The Columbiana County Board of Elections had its first results on its Web site the first time on election night at 8:47 p.m.

The board wanted to have its results on the Web for the first time this year. Tod Mumpire, the county’s computer system manager, changed his mind and made the results available in a downloadable format. After The Vindicator had a story about the plan, Mumpire said the Web site had hundreds of hits.
