Oct. 25
Theft: Six packages of infant body suits were stolen from Walgreen’s Pharmacy, 525 E. Midlothian Blvd. The theft came to $48.
Theft: A woman reported her $110 cell phone stolen while at a Doral Drive store.
Theft: A Lockwood Boulevard man reported two debit cards stolen from his residence.
Forgery: The owner of a business in the 800 block of Boardman-Canfield Road found out a business check written for $3,702 had been forged and presented at a Boardman bank.
Counterfeit: A Boardman man reported being given as change from a Boardman-Canfield Road eatery a $10 bill that turned out to be counterfeit.
Criminal trespassing: Officers picked up a 21-year-old Youngstown man walking in the 7900 block of Market Street after learning he was wanted on a criminal-trespassing charge. Earlier, a worker for Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 317 Boardman-Poland Road, reported damage to the men’s restroom.
Drugs: While responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue, police arrested a 27-year-old Canfield d man on a felony count of drug abuse and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Small pieces of suspected crack cocaine and a suspected crack pipe were found, officers said.
Theft: A Struthers man, 25, was accused of concealing 11 video games valued at a total of $330 at Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Police arrested a 30-year-old Boardman woman on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools after five DVDs worth a total of $93 were taken from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Drugs: After pulling over a vehicle on Indianola Road, police arrested a 38-year-old Youngstown woman on a felony charge of possession of cocaine as well as three misdemeanor drug charges. Paper containing suspected powder cocaine was found, authorities said.
Arrest: A traffic stop on U.S. Route 224 led to the arrest of a 32-year-old Boardman man on six felony counts of tampering with records and two felony counts of forgery. Another Boardman man reported having been given fictitious motor-vehicle titles in exchange for $1,800.
Theft: A 19-year-old North Lima man faced a theft charge after a $13 box was stolen from Spencer Gifts in the Southern Park Mall.
Burglary: A man told police someone entered his son’s Schenley Avenue apartment via the front door. Stolen were a DVD player, a Sony PlayStation game console and a 7-inch DVD screen.

Burglary: A Huntington Drive man told police someone entered his apartment and removed a $1,000 watch and $300 worth of clothing.
Theft: Officers charged a New Waterford woman, 21, accused of taking $40.28 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.
Stolen property: Two 21-year-old Indianola Road men faced felony charges of receiving stolen property and possession of criminal tools after a Youngstown man discovered all four rims and tires that had been on his vehicle were at the suspects’ residence.
Theft: The mother of a pupil at Glenwood Middle School, 7635 Glenwood Ave., told authorities the girl’s cell phone and MP3 player were stolen from a locker room.
Theft: Someone took four DVDs and two bags of seafood from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft of services: An employee with a business in the 7100 block of Southern Boulevard reported garbage was dumped without permission into the business’s trash bin.
Theft: A motorist pumped and failed to pay for $25 worth of gasoline before leaving a Shell True North station, 1510 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Misuse of a credit card: A Poland man visiting a Boardman credit union realized $2,000 of merchandise had been bought with his credit card without his consent.
Theft: A $570 cell phone was taken from AT&T Ohio, 650 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Assault: A 35-year-old Brookwood Road woman was arrested at her home and charged after a Youngstown man reported being bitten while at the residence. He had a mark on his right biceps, police said.
Assault: A 33-year-old man was booked at the Mahoning County Jail on an assault charge after a Mathews Road man reported being assaulted in July.
Theft: A 34-year-old Niles man arrested on Boardman-Canfield Road was turned over to Niles authorities. He was wanted on one count of theft.
Oct. 27
Drugs: Officers cited a 20-year-old Struthers man and a Poland man, 19, during a traffic stop on Boardman-Poland Road. Suspected marijuana was found, police said.
Theft: A 19-year-old Niles woman was accused of stealing $96 worth of merchandise from the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall, which resulted in a theft charge.
Domestic violence: A 43-year-old Shields Road man faced a felony count after a family member reported being a victim. He also was wanted on a charge of driving under suspension.
Drugs: After stopping his vehicle near Western Reserve and Tippecanoe roads, officers arrested a 34-year-old Canfield man on charges of possession of drugs and having fictitious license plates.
Criminal damaging: A Forest Park Drive woman found a rear window broken, resulting in a $200 damage estimate.
Theft: A customer took baby clothing from Family Dollar, 4028 Market St.
Assault: A Youngstown woman alleged her boyfriend assaulted her at a residence in the 4000 block of Schenley Avenue. She had bruises, discoloration and swelling near her neck.
Burglary: A Bob-o-Link Drive woman discovered a break-in through a rear window, and that a 32-inch TV, a radio and four other items were missing.
Oct. 28
Theft: A woman shopping at a South Avenue store reported her purse was removed from a shopping cart.
Criminal mischief: A Crystal Drive man discovered two eggs were tossed at his home, though no damage was done.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle in the 8100 block of Stadler Avenue sustained damage to one of its tires.
Criminal mischief: A Paxton Road man discovered eggs were thrown at three cars in his driveway, and that someone left toilet paper in a tree.
Breaking and entering: A man found out someone broke into his Lynn Mar Avenue home before removing from the garage a leaf blower, a pressure washer and a lawn mower.
Theft: A Youngstown man told police a firearm was stolen from his car while he was at a business in the 5100 block of Market Street.
Nov. 3
Trespassing: A 17-year-old Canfield man was arrested for trespassing at a home in the 70 block of Indian Lake after he and a friend went to the home to join in a gathering to grieve for the loss of a friend. The suspect had been issued a no trespassing order at the address.

Burglary: A homeowner died Oct. 16 in the 400 block of Woodmere Drive, and the home was entered sometime after the owner died.
Menacing: Threatening e-mail was received by the victim in the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Two women were arrested at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Checks from the victim’s checkbook were reported stolen.
Theft: A man was arrested and placed in county jail for theft at Wal-Mart.
Auto theft: A car was taken by a man while the victim was at a night deposit at National City Bank, 4949 Mahoning Ave.
Oct. 30
Animal complaint: A man was issued a summons for unsanitary conditions in the 100 block of Westminster Ave.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown on a driveway at a home in the 1000 block of Collins Ave.
Fraud: $337.66 was debited from an account in Georgia owned by a homeowner in the 1000 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Items were taken from a shopping cart in the parking lot at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: Locks were cut but nothing was taken at Blake’s Mini Storage, 2024 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: Four storage units were broken into at Blake’s Mini Storage, 2024 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A .45-caliber Taurus handgun with ammunition was stolen from a home in the 400 block of E. Webb Road.
Criminal damaging: A garage door was dented in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

Burglary: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Drive.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown at a house in the 200 block of Innwood Street.

Identity fraud: Fraudulent charges for purchases were made at Alfredo’s Pizza, 3120 S. Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was placed in county jail after being arrested for possession of a bag of crack cocaine at Meridian Road and Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Yard damage was done at a home in the 4000 block of Nottingham Ave.
