BAZAARS

• Leavittsburg Church of God Women’s Ministries will have a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church, 610 S. Leavitt Road. Among the features will be a Sweet Shop, a Craft Shop, a Second Time Around Shop and a Kids’ Korner. For more information call (330) 898-1131.

• Zion Hill Church, 14450 New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, is holding a bazaar and rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be available, and crafts, baked goods, home canned pickles, apple butter, candy and more will be featured.

CRAFT SHOWS

• Austintown Middle School PTA will host its 24th annual autumn craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the new school, 800 S. Raccoon Road. More than 150 vendors will be on hand to offer gifts and holiday decorations, and there will be a Chinese auction. Food will be available, and admission and parking are free.

• Christian Assembly, 5050 South Ave., Boardman, will hold a mission Christmas craft show and Chinese auction from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Tables can be rented for $10 plus a donation to the Chinese auction. For information or table rental, call (330) 788-0293 or send name, phone number, type of craft, and rental fee to the church. No flea market items will be accepted.

• Greenville Area Leisure Services Association will hold a holiday decorations and craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenville Recreation Center gymnasium. In addition to craft vendors, there will be a 50-50 raffle, Chinese auction and door-prize giveaways. Tickets for the Chinese auction at 2:30 p.m. are five for $1. • New Covenant Worship Center, 100 Canfield Road, will hold a craft show featuring more than 30 vendors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be available at a concession area.

• St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church will hold a holiday arts and crafts show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the social center, 766 Fifth St., Struthers. There will also be a bake sale, and a light lunch will be available. Admission is free.

• Sharpsville Elementary PTO will hold an annual craft show and Chinese auction from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Sharpsville Elementary School, 100 Hittle St., Sharpsville, Pa. Lunches will be available. Admission is $1.

FESTIVALS

• First Covenant Church, 5210 Glenwood Ave., will hold it 36th annual Lucia breakfast and Festival on Dec. 1. Featured will be baked goods, a Swedish auction, Swedish items, singing and dancing. Seatings for breakfast will be at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. Tickets are $7 and are available by mail. Make checks payable to Covenant Women and mail, with preference for seating along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to the church.

SALES

• Christ Lutheran Church, 250 Sexton St., Struthers, will hold a flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Featured will be toys, tools and a variety of items. There will also be a Chinese auction and bake sale, and food will be available.

• St. James Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Available will be good winter clothing, household items, small appliances, Christmas items and books.

• Women’s Ministries of Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, will hold a fall sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Featured will be trash and treasure items, clothing and household goods. A bake sale and lunch of homemade soup, hot sandwiches and pies will be available. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., there will be a half-price sale.

SHOWS

• Warren Ski Club plans a fashion show and meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Crest Lanes banquet hall, state Route 422 in Warren. The event is open to the public. Call the membership chairwoman, Patricia Kearney, at (330) 550-8400 or visit www.warrenskiclub.org.

SPECIAL EVENTS

• Howland Community Church Co-Op Preschool plans its annual basket raffle at 4 p.m. Saturday at Howland Community Church’s Helping Hands Craft Show. The eight themed baskets include Chocolate, Family Night, Little Girl, Relaxation, Junk Food, Creative Kids and Baking. The baskets, worth from $100 to $180 each, are full of items and gift certificates. Tickets are available from any preschool family or from the office for $1 each. Baskets will be on display and tickets available the day of the raffle.

• Shrine of Our Lady, Comforter of the Afflicted, 57 S. Belle Vista Ave., is holding a Thanksgiving basket raffle and a 50-50 raffle. Drawings will take place after noon Mass on Nov. 18 for a first prize of a turkey, ham and trimmings basket, a second prize of a family fun basket and a third prize of a wine and cheese basket. Light green basket raffle tickets and yellow 50-50 cash raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win.

TOURNAMENTS

• Jewish Community Center will hold a Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament on Nov. 18 at the center, 505 Gypsy Lane. The cost for the fundraiser will be $150 buy-in with a 75 percent payout in prize money. Football games will be shown on big screen televisions, and lunch will be available for an additional charge. Doors open at noon, and play begins at 1 p.m. Patrons must be 21 or older. Those registering by Sunday will receive an additional $300 in chips.
