Joshua Trojak, son of John and Marilyn Trojak of Sharon, has the duty of sound chief in the college production of Gershwin’s “Crazy for You” playing Wednesday through Saturday in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center. He is a senior communication major. Senior Patrick McElroy of Grove City has the role of local saloon owner Lank Hawkins in the production. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. daily with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday.

Jessica Arnal and Kelly Moore have been selected for membership in Alpha Phi sorority. Arnal, daughter of Marcel and Donna Arnal of Cortland, is majoring in hotel and restaurant management. Moore, daughter of Donald and Deborah Moore, also of Cortland, is majoring in early childhood education.

Nick Gligor of Sharon will handle the role of 21-year-old drug-dealing Dennis in Kenneth Lonergan’s “This is Our Youth,” a two-act serial comedy/drama to be presented by the university’s theater department Nov. 14-18. Joel Magill of New Castle is the assistant stage manager for the production. Curtains in Miller Auditorium are at 8 p.m. Nov. 14-17 and 2 p.m. Nov. 18. Tickets are $5 for Slippery Rock students and $10 for the general public.
