Youngstown police run prostitution ‘sting’ on North Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Four men were charged with soliciting sex from an undercover police officer this morning on the North Side. Members of the Vice Squad set up around the area of Arlington Street and North Avenue. The fake hookers were Patrolwomen Nancy Tipple and Dorothy Johnson. Lt. Dave McKnight, commander of the Vice Squad, said he’s received complaints about prostitutes working the area and undercover officers making drug buys have spotted the women, too.
