ASSOCIATIONS
• American Association of University Women, Boardman-Canfield Branch, will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, North Main Street, Poland. • Chaney High School January and June 1942 alumni will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s in Austintown. No reservations are necessary.
• Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s on state Route 224, Boardman. Classmates and guests are welcome.

• Austintown Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Annette McCarthy and Eleanor Lucci. An air freshener workshop will be conducted by Dolly Conn after lunch.
• Girard K. of C. Ladies will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the club hall. One member will be chosen to receive a makeover by Carmen Ruberto of TLC Salon.
• Poland Center Homemakers will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Poland United Methodist Church for a casserole luncheon. Hostesses will be Jean Mook and Rose Scarfo.
LIBRARY FRIENDS
• Poland Friends of the Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the library. Cheryl Bagoly of Cambridge Home Health Care will speak on “A Prescription for Lifesavers.” Recent book and magazine donations will be collected for the book cart. For more information, call (330) 744-8636 Ext. 118.
RELIGIOUS GROUPS
• Holy Name Ladies Guild will meet at noon Tuesday in Founder’s Hall. Hostesses for the luncheon will be Mary Skebo and Elaine Charnoky. Kiffle baking will be discussed.
• Immaculate Heart of Mary Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the parish center hall. The program will be “Sharing & Caring.” In keeping with this theme, members are asked to take a bag of wrapped candy to be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Guests will be welcomed by Doreen Fryman, Jean Furden and Bernice Smith. All women of the parish are welcome.
• Junior Seton Circle will meet Thursday at A La Cart in Canfield for a noon luncheon and program by Becky Wehr on “Handwriting Analysis.” Election will be held for a nominating committee. Serving as hostesses will be Ellen Hart, chairwoman, and Peg Cooney, Louise Manley and Pat Gorski.
• St. Michael Altar Guild will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the parish center. The Rosary will precede the meeting at 7 p.m. in the church. Pat Hoyle will preside. Carmen Leone, author of “Rose Street,” will talk about his family and life growing up in Youngstown. Anyone interested in a nostalgic look at the past is welcome. Hostesses for the meeting are Doris Neel, Marge Kana and Roxanna Hildebrand.
• St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.
