YOUNGSTOWN — Five area accounting firms have combined to give $150,000 to Youngstown State University to help fund the construction of a new home for the Williamson College of Business Administration.

The gift from Anness, Gerlach & Williams; Cohen & Co.; Hill, Barth & King; Packer Thomas; and Schroedel, Scullin and Besticwas announced today at the opening of the 12th annual Accounting Student/Practitioner Day in Kilcawley Center.

The money, although earmarked for the new business school, is part of YSU’s $43 million Centennial Capital Campaign. Pledges and contributions now stand at more than $34 million.
