Knife found in Niles kid’s candy bar

NILES – When 10-year-old Marquis Porterfield reached into his bag and pulled out a candy bar after a couple hours of trick or treating, he held it between two fingers.

“You try to make it nice for the kids, and you have one bloomin’ idiot,” Rochelle Floyd, Marquis’ aunt, said of the Milky Way bar he found Halloween night — with a utility knife sticking out of it.

“It might be a long time before Marquis eats a Milky Way,” she added.
