Classes are offered at training center

YOUNGSTOWN — Young adult and senior citizen women who are interested in learning to make hand-crafted items, to earn money and to be independent are invited to attend classes made available by the Northstar Patchwork Training Center at the Friends House Chapel, 192 Hazeltine Ave.

Classes, which are also designed to keep hands and minds exercised, are scheduled for from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
