Choices, Funny Farm are closed

LIBERTY — Choices Night Club inside of the Holiday Inn MetroPlex has closed.

A sign outside of the entrance to the Belmont Avenue establishment says that Choices and the Funny Farm Comedy Club are closed until further notice.

A recorded message at the comedy club says that it’s closed this weekend and instructs callers seeking information or reservations to future shows to call back after noon Tuesday. Dan Ellison had been scheduled to appear at the Funny Farm this weekend.

The Funny Farm’s website lists upcoming shows including performances Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 by Steve Caminiti, “the Italian Stallion of Comedians.”

The Funny Farm formerly operated another location inside of the former Soffo’s Restaurant on South Avenue, Boardman. That location closed when the restaurant closed more than a year ago. The website says that it will announce when a Boardman location opens.
