STAFF REDUCTIONS

Youngstown city schools

Youngstown city school administrators were expected to present a list of job reductions to a state fiscal oversight commission today. The 153 cuts would mean an $8.5 million savings for the district, which is seeking to overcome a $15 million budget deficit. The list shows:

75 teachers.

15 administrators.

17 custodians.

17 educational service personnel (counselors, librarians, etc.).

8 aides.

9 food service workers.

11 secretaries.

1 and two-fifths nurses.
