Wellsville River Museum schedules Sunday open houses

WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville River Museum will hold an open house 1-4:30 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 4.

The museum, in a three-story Victorian home built in 1870, has 11 rooms on display.

This year it will feature wedding gowns. There are also rooms displaying Civil War, Indians, Wellsville, railroad, pottery, riverboats, parlor, kitchen and others.

Behind the main building is a country store, a fire station and a restored railroad caboose.
