TW,

TW,

The budget is pretty well done, but AP hadn’t sent its digest yet (2 pm). There may be something on the Indy 500 and more football.

I put only 4 stories on page 1, figuring Bonds would take up a lot, and there’s art with Kovach’s track story and the Tressel talk.

Mark Miller is supposed to have a tennis feature for Thursday and we are supposed to have shot something for that. Doublecheck with photo, though, because, well, you know.

Also, William Hanlon (the intern) may check with you about his assignments Wednesday and Thursday. I told him in an e-mail he was covering both games at Kent State.

Also, Flick will be covering both softball games at Massillon.

Andy was approved by Mark brown to be used as a correspondent, so I’ll probably give him the Canfield game at Hudson, since it’s a 2 pm start and he has practice at 6. But, I’ll doublecheck all the Thursday assignments tomorrow. Photo assignments for Weds. and Thurs. are in.

Also, Class B League starts Saturday. I want Bassetti to call Scott Ruark and/or Tony Gorvet for a preview, to run Friday or Saturday. He should have plenty of time tonight and tomorrow. Ruark’s number is in “sports phones” file in SPORTS, LOCAL and Gorvet’s should be on the Chaney baseball questionnaire, assuming we got one. Gorvet is president of the B League. I’m not sure what Ruark’s title is. but John might know.

Prep agate ran on C2 last night and should run there again.

Remind Bassetti to run the latest line. And don’t forget to add Thursday’s top stories to the regional budget (I know to remind you of this because I forgot last night.)

Call me if you need anything.
