Notes: Created at Bobby Jones’ suggestion, the event was first played in 1937 at Augusta National. ... Haas has two victories this year and leads the money list with $1,136,058. ... The 1991 Ryder Cup was played on the Pete Dye-designed Ocean Course, also the site of the 2012 PGA Championship. ... Sam Snead won six times, the last in 1973 with a record 20-under 268 total at PGA National. ... Hale Irwin won in 1996-98 at PGA National and 2004 at Valhalla. ... Jeff Coston of Blaine, Wash., won the Senior PGA Professional National Championship in October to top the 35 club pro qualifiers. ... Seve Ballesteros is making his second Champions Tour start. He tied for last in Alabama, shooting 78-81-73. ... Fred Funk is skipping the senior major to play in the Colonial. ... Flanagan, the 2003 U.S. Amateur champion, won the Henrico Country Open in his previous tour start.
