For five years, Poland McKinley Elementary teacher Sharyn DiMuzio has had her classes take part in a community project to raise money for the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley. Their efforts have netted more than $4,150 altogether, and each year they have come up with more than the previous year. Sixth-grade pupils who have participated in the project continually since second grade, and annual dollar amounts:
