Women

ONEONTA, N.Y. — Westminster had a 12th-place finish out of 43 teams. The Titans compiled 25 points, 19 more points than they did at last year's event. Westminster had four individual medalists placing in the top eight. The highest two finishers were sophomore Kristen Van Sickel who placed third in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.64, and junior Jess Cooper who took third place in the high jump with a distance of 1.58 meters.

Meanwhile, Grove City's women's team accumulated eight points, good for 29th place. Two members of Grove City scored points. Junior Mary Majchrowicz placed seventh in the 400 with a time of 59.16 seconds while sophomore Megan Fellows took seventh in the discus with a throw of 117-9.

Men

ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Grove City placed ninth out of 43 total teams with 26 team points. Grove City athletes broke three school records. Junior Josiah Leuenberger earned runner-up honors in the 5,000 with a record time of 14 minutes, 56.79 seconds. Senior Mark Murchie broke the record in the 400 dash with a time of 49.65 seconds. That time landed Murchie seventh overall.

Bethany College finished tied for 25th place overall with 11 points. Freshman Matt Cruse scored in all three of his events. In his first event of the day, he ran on the 4x100 relay team with sophomore Alex Bota, freshman Andy Kotson and sophomore Taylor McNeil which finished seventh overall to earn two points. They crossed in a time of 43.31 seconds.
