Jennifer Miller, the McGuffey Centre’s executive director, presented 12 volunteers with awards for their service to the center on Jacobs Road as part of an annual meeting and dinner Friday. Those recognized and their contributions:

Barbara Adams and Henry Clarett, serving as bridge instructors.

Elizabeth Brown, helping with arts and crafts.

Juanita Brown, assisting senior citizens and youth.

Cossell Burton, planning family events.

Delores Freeman, running an exercise program.

Audrey Massengile, conducting an aerobics class.

Lillian Morris, serving as office volunteer.

Annie Rudolph, working with seniors, as well as arts and crafts.

Esther Smith, working as a sewing instructor.
