Moran-Knechtel engagement is being announced

XPOLAND -- Jim and Kathy Moran of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Maureen Moran, and David Knechtel, a son of Ken and Joni Knechtel of Mercer, Pa.
Miss Moran graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in health sciences and a master's of physician assistant. She specialized in cardiology and is in practice with Pittsburgh Cardiac and Vascular Associates.
Mr. Knechtel also earned a bachelor's in health sciences and master's in physician assistant at Duquesne. He specialized in internal medicine and has a private practice in Pittsburgh.
The couple will issue invitations for the wedding they have planned for Aug. 25 at Phipps Outdoor Gardens in Schenley Park, and also for their reception afterward at Duranti's Restaurant, both in Pittsburgh.
