Fugitive caught in Warren

YOUNGSTOWN — Fugitive Preston L. Cunningham was arrested late this morning at a friend’s place in Warren by members of the FBI/Mahoning Valley Violent Crimes Task Force and Trumbull County Sheriff’s Department. Cunningham, 32, of Youngstown has a rape case pending in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court. A warrant was issued in February when Cunningham, who was on electronically monitored house arrest, fled. Detective Sgt. John Elberty said Cunningham fled to Alabama and then came back.
