Gasoline prices hita new record high
NEW YORK -- Gasoline prices hit a new record at the pump on Monday. The average national price of a gallon of gas hit 3.073 on Monday, up almost a penny from Sunday's also record-setting price. Gasoline is now well above the previous record of 3.057, set on Sept. 5, 2005, soon after Hurricane Katrina hit.

Cardinal Health eyesViasys Healthcare Inc.
DUBLIN, Ohio -- Medical products and services company Cardinal Health Inc. said Monday that it will buy Pennsylvania medical technology company Viasys Healthcare Inc. for 1.42 billion, an acquisition that will help Cardinal expand in international markets.
Cardinal will pay 42.75 per share for Viasys' outstanding shares, a 35 percent premium over its closing stock price of 31.55 on Friday. Cardinal also will assume debt of 50 million.
Ohio developer reachesdeal to build in Russia
CLEVELAND -- A developer of shopping centers in the United States said Monday it has reached a deal with a developer in Germany to build malls in western Russia and Ukraine to cater to the growing middle class.
Developers Diversified Realty, a suburban Cleveland-based real estate investment trust that develops, leases and manages shopping centers, will commit 225 million toward the 300 million venture with ECE Projektmanagement, based in Hamburg, Germany, providing 75 million. They expect financing will bring the value of the deal to 1.2 billion.
F.N.B. Corp. announcesits quarterly dividend
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- F.N.B. Corp. declared a quarterly dividend on its common stock of 23.5 cents a share. The dividend is payable on June 15 to shareholders of record as of June 1.
F.N.B. held its annual meeting Monday, and these directors were re-elected to three-year terms: William B. Campbell, Stephen J. Gurgovits, Harry F. Radcliffe and John W. Rose. Arthur J. Rooney II was elected to a two-year term, and Dawne S. Hickton was elected to a one-year term.
