Septic tank pumping

AUSTINTOWN — The Mahoning County District Board of Health is sending pumping reminders to 633 residents in Goshen Township and 648 residents in Green Township with septic systems.

There is no law requiring homeowners to have their septic tanks pumped, but regular service can save expensive repair costs, said Matthew Stefanak, county health commissioners.
