2 arguing moms cause brawl, close eatery

TOLEDO (AP) -- A brawl that started with two mothers arguing about a screaming child led to the closing of a restaurant Sunday on the city's west side, police said.
The argument began about 3:30 p.m. at Golden Corral Restaurant, said Sgt. Greg Smith.
"Two women started arguing over a screaming child, and that led to the fight that eventually turned into a brawl," he said.
Police closed the restaurant to restore order, he said.
Five people were arrested, but the charges filed against them were unavailable, Smith said.
The restaurant was open later Sunday, but employees declined to comment.
A message seeking comment was left for a corporate spokeswoman.
