SALEM -- The wedding of Katharine Meghan Melitschka and James Allen Vross took place at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 9, 2006, at St. Paul Church with the Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating.
A reception was held afterward at Salem Golf Club for the daughter of Matt and Cathie Melitschka, 357 Morgan Court, and the son of Tom and Christy Vross, 365 Brookfield Ave., Boardman.
After a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, they live in Canfield.
The bride's strapless gown of white silk satin featured an A-line skirt and semicathedral train.
Euro-red gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Amber Mansour and Julie Citino, and the bridesmaids, Amy Murray, Angela Vross, Jenn Andres, Danille Wright, Tiffany Moser and Stephanie Helms. White gowns were worn by the junior bridesmaids, Shelby and Sidney Daily. Flower girls were Sarah, Kaitlyn and Sammantha Murray.
Best man was Dr. Jess Rowney, and groomsmen were Josh Melitschka, Scot Murray, Rody Rothrauff, Dr. John Rothrauff, Todd Holden, Mark Sahli and Jim Griffith. Ring bearer was Josh Meissner.
The bride, a second-grade teacher with Western Reserve School in Berlin Center, graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education.
The groom graduated from YSU with a degree in computer information systems and is a manager with Sparkle Market in Youngstown.
